Stunning family portraits in Marian Bear Park
[spacer height=”20px”]
It was that time of the year when many of us get their family portraits done for Christmas cards. Family photographers are super busy with mini sessions and every photographer knows how crazy this time of the year usually is.
Some time ago, I did back-to-back mini sessions ONCE and it was enough for me to understand that a rushed 20-30 minutes session is not what I want to offer to my clients. Honesty, I’m just not capable of capturing a few shots and wrap up the session. Besides, it feels like I’m missing so many family portraits that could be cherished forever. That’s why I offer my mini sessions. They are as personalized as a regular session and every family gets as much undivided attention from me as needed. Except for mini family sessions, I include fewer images.
Beautiful Family of Three

This time I was contacted by a great San Diego newborn photographer Shelly from Mia Bambina Photography for their Christmas Pictures. They wanted a mini session for their Christmas cards. Honestly, when a fellow photographer hires you, it’s very flattering and intimidating at the same time 🙂
We decided to do their family portraits at Marian Bear Park. It’s such a great location and I like it a lot – the light is just always so amazing.
I was a little nervous than usual. Little did I know how easy and smooth the session is gonna go.
Shelly and Scott were so relaxed and laid back, so easy to work with. And what an amazing and fun personality little Mia has. So joyful and full of giggles! I know her mom probably photographs her a lot all the time, so she already has a lot of experience with listening and following directions, so this made the session be very enjoyable for all of us. It was such a pleasure to see the connection between this family. So many great little moments create a big picture which is called LOVE.
Hopefully, these family portraits will be a part of a family legacy now and cherished for many years and will always remind them about these happy times with a 5-year-old!
It was a great family session and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
