Family Session at Marian Bear Park

Every time I have an inquiry for family photos I get excited. But when a family is your repeated client, I get super excited.
Some time ago we did an amazing newborn session for this family when they had their third baby girl. Baby Yohanna was already 5 weeks old and was such a good baby during her newborn session. You can see how tiny and cute she was here.
This time it was the whole family and I was super happy to meet big sisters Bethel and Miriam again.
First of all, I just want to mention that this was supposed to be a mini session, but as my previous experience with mini sessions shows, I just can not possibly do 10 images and be done. So as usual it turned into a full session with so many great images.
When it comes to photographing kids, I can say that it’s my favorite part during all sessions. It’s simply adorable how they hug and are eager to show me how much they love each other. Besides, it’s just amazing to hear laughs and giggles while I try to be silly and get them to smile for their family photos.
Baby Yohanna was about 6 months at the time we did their family photos. And it’s my favorite age to photograph. Honestly, at 6 months babies are at their chubbiest stage and very smiley. And usually are not scared of strangers yet. And this is a recipe for the cutest pictures ever.
My second favorite part of every family session is when its time for parents/kids images. I always try to bring out all the love and emotions in these images. Because this connection between a parent and children is always something special. It’s something that causes a smile on mom’s face every time she will look at these pictures. And this is truly priceless for every mom and dad out there.
And no matter how many kids are in the family, every child has their own personality. And during every family session, I make sure to capture those individual portraits where a child’s personality shines through.
It was a great family session and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
